Diary of a wimpy kid, the last straw  is about a boy named Greg Hefly trying to improve his year but he realized  that he is good enough so he helped others. He tried to make his mom stop eating chips while eating with the mouth open, his dad stop eating chocolate, his brother naping after school. 
I suggest you read it. It's really good.

At the zoo, his grandma meets the movie star and falls in love with him. Zack knows his grandma is in trouble but he can't stop his grandma. The movie star takes his grandma to a party and for dinner. Zack, and Zack's dad go to save grandma. Will they save her or not...
