I like this story . I think you have to read it. It talks about a cruel queen that burns her enemies at the stake! Lors Scuggate gets ready for the visit by counting up victimes. But when he picks on an old, wise woman, he finds he's made a big mistake.

Grade 4 celebrating National Reading Week!

During the National Reading Week Grade 4 students have an activity where they can show their creativity. After choosing a book and reading it, they imagine a new cover for the book. i am sure you will see master pieces published on this blog soon! Parrots

If you want a nice pet to live in your house, you should choose a parrot. It will dirty the floor, but you can have fun with it and talk to it. I have one I took the book "Parrots" to read aobut my pet. If you only feed your parrot grains, it will die because parrots need parrots vitamines gust like humans. If cold air comes on parrots they will get sick and die. Sugar also kills parrots. Carefull my parrot bit me once. And it hurt a lot. But still... a parrot is a very nice pet...

Foolish Jack and the Beanstack

I like this book because it's a funny story. It has different titles and it talks about how foolish Jack and his mom lived. Every day they had milk so then he got beans. They started eating beans every day. it reminded me about Jack and the beanstalk but t eh difference is that Jack made a beanstalk not a beanstack.

Alex Rider: Stormbreaker

Alex Rider is one of my favorite book series. This is the first one i read. It is full of action and adventure. I'd rather read the book than watch the movie because i can picture what's happening in my head. It is about a new computer a person is using to kill many children. I definitely suggest this book to other people.

This book was long but simple. It is about a girl named Mary Margaret. Once Mary's mom had to work in a ranch, so they had to stay there for the weekend. This story is about a boy who wants freckles. A girl tells him the secret recepie called freckles juice. He has fun with the freckles so he tells the girl again. She gives him another secret recepie to remove the freckles. He is happy now!!!

Eloise in Paris

This is a story about a girl named Eloise. She travels to Paris with her Nanny. Eloise likes Paris a lot! She had a wonderful trip to Paris! By the way, she is very rich! This story was easy!

Summer of the Sea Serpent

Jack and Anie had a merlin mission. It is called "Summer of the Sea Serpent" It talks about Jack and Anie . They have to get the sword of Light before night fall and give it to merlin the magician. Mirlin gives them a rythme to follow. The rythme started by telling them they have to call the water night for help and they did. The water night helped them. The next thing to do was to go into the spider queen cave. Anie was not scared of everything only spiders. She saw that the cave was filling with water so the spider queen created for them a ladder. They went up the ladder and saved themselves. Then Jack and Anie saw two seels and played with them and slept with them. In fact these seels were Teddy and Kathleen.

Karen's unicorn is a story about a girl who loved unicorns and always believes that one day she will see one.

So one day the school was taking Karen's class to a field trip to a circus. There they saw clowns and acrobats best of all for Karen was when they saw the beautiful and magical unicorn. She could not believe her eyes she was thrilled with joy. I learned, if you love something always believe in it and someday it might come true.
